Blog #1: Introducing Myself

Hello everyone, my name is Hayden Walters. I go to LBCC, and this is technically my 3rd term. I graduated from West Albany High School a semester early and took some classes at LBCC back in the spring of 2019. Right now I live in an apartment with my two high school friends, and I work at Old Navy. Right now in my life, I'm working on building myself. Going to school,  working a minimum wage job, deciding who I want to be in life. I took this course because taking a marketing class is, in my opinion, one of the most important classes to take in college. It's a perfect blend of a business and psychology class that you can use in everyday life if you're wanting to become an entrepreneur or a successful businessman. I am planning on being a business/marketing major. My dream path is to go to LBCC for a few years, then transfer to UofO and go into their business plan that has a direct internship with Nike, and then hopefully pick up a job there. The thing I'm most interested in learning about marketing is simply the fact of how business incorporates the human mind and how to trick people into selling more of their products. A little bit more about me to wrap up this blog about who I am, I'm going to let you guys know about my interests. I'm a sneakerhead, I collect shoes, I sell shoes, I love shoes. Shoes were a hobby of mine until I realized I wanted to go into the shoe business, and what better job for me that revolves around shoes is at Nike. I also don't play very many video games, but the one I do play is Super Smash Bros Ultimate for the Nintendo Switch. I've played Smash Bros competitively for a couple years now. I've gone to a couple tournaments, and even won a couple of them in the Albany/Salem area. It's the one thing I like to do to unwind when life gets a bit stressful. Anyways, that's all there really is to know about me so I will see everyone next time in my next blog.
